Big morning. Our two drivers picked us up at 8 AM. Exciting to leave Da Lat knowing that we would spend the next three days riding motorbikes - as back seat drivers, Bah and Dan taking care of all the logistics. It took a while to get all our bags on the bikes and then we were on the road - for 20 minutes. Then we had the first stop, a temple on the outside of town, but a rather big one. We had a short introduction to religion in Vietnam and then a short while to walk around the temple area on our own before we were back on the bikes and on the road again. And then the rest of the day continued in that way, drive, stop, explain, experience, drive again. In a very good pace and with Dan and Bah taking their time to show us around.
We stopped at a lot of places including a flower farm, silk worm factory and silk factory, a big waterfall, coffee plantation and a bee farm just to mention some of the places we managed to get to. In the afternoon we arrived at our hotel a bit tired from all the driving but after a couple of hours of resting we were ready for dinner - and then sleeping early. We leave at 9 AM tomorrow for another day on the road. Easy Riders are great.
